Remove Footer Credit

At first I tried another plugin, but that did not work since the 2021 theme. This Plugin takes a totally different approach, it goes into the footer and takes out the text you specify. It starts by creating a new menu option in the tools menu called Remove Footer Credit, there you will find a box where you can paste the text you want removed. I tested it removing code and it worked, for example Designed with <a href=»wordpress.org» rel=»nofollow»>WordPress</a> I guess some people would want to use their own URL and text. The approach of this plugin is supersmart, other plugins needed to be modified by the author for each new template, this one allows the site developer manager to simply change the text that needs to be replaced. Great to use on those free templates that plaster their name in the footer.

An agency, who’d done a sloppy job, left a protected attribution in the footer. This plugin quickly allowed me to remove that attribution, and I look forward to them noticing, being irked, and not daring to call me.

The plugin is good and works even on free versions of paid themes that are protected from editing, though not 100%. The plugin developer cannot anticipate all the tricks used by theme creators.Thank you for your work!
