Instalación

FAQ

How are my reminder emails sent?

This plugin uses the built-in WordPress cron system (WP-Cron) to schedule and send emails. This system relies on visitors to your website to trigger the schedule.

My reminder emails are late! How do I fix this?

This is a common issue with WP-Cron. If your site doesn’t have regular visitors (especially at night), your reminders may be delayed. For 100% reliability, we strongly recommend setting up a server cron job. You can find instructions, the command to use, and a video tutorial link in your Reminders > Settings > Advanced tab.

Can I customize the default email subject and message?

Yes! You can set the default text for both admin and client notifications. Go to Reminders > Settings > Email Templates to set your default subject and message, including placeholders like {event_title} and {event_date}.

How do I import the Admin or Client template when writing a reminder?

On the «Add New Reminder» page, inside any notification box, you will see two buttons: «Import Admin Template» and «Import Client Template». Clicking these will fill the subject and message fields with the defaults you saved in the settings.

What’s the difference between a Reminder and a Public Event?

A Reminder (free) is a private, one-time notification for you or a client. A Public Event (Pro feature) is an event you want to display on your website, with features like a countdown timer and public registration.

Will this plugin slow down my site?

No. This plugin is built to be lightweight. It uses a Custom Post Type, which is the efficient, WordPress-native way to store data. The dashboard queries are optimized and do not run on the front-end of your site.
