Analytics for WP plugin allows you to track your website by entering your google analytics tracking code. It Adds latest version of Google Analytics (Universal Analytics) javascript to every page, post, products(in eCommerce site). Also comes with option to temporaily disable tracking.

Instalación
The plugin is simple to install:
- Download
analytics-for-wp.zip. - Unzip & Upload
analytics-for-wpdirectory to your/wp-content/pluginsdirectory. - Go to the plugin menu page and activate the plugin.
- Add your Google Analytics Tracking code from the
Anlytics for WPsettings page.

Yes, just select «Yes» in disable traking option in plugin settings page.

I am a low level techie and could have done this myself. But wanted to see how this gentleman did it. Very simple, no hassle, accomplished the job in two easy steps!

This plugin is a perfect replacement for all of the cluttered plugins that dominate this market. If you only need a simple options page and a single field to drop in the tracking code then this plugin is for you.
I suggest the author change his options page menu item placement. It feels better to live under the Settings menu item instead of being a top level item.

Easy install, placed the tracking code in the head section of the page. Checked the analytics dashboard and the page is now tracking. This just might be my goto Google Analytics plugin. Very simple and it works!
