RankJet writes SEO articles for your site. This plugin connects your WordPress site to your RankJet
account so those articles publish here directly, as live posts or as drafts for review.

External services
This plugin communicates with RankJet at https://app.rankjet.co for these purposes:
- Connecting your site. When you confirm a connection, the plugin sends your site address, its
REST API address, WordPress and PHP versions, which SEO plugin is active, and whether WP-Cron is
disabled. This is used to link the site to your account and to tell you if anything will prevent
publishing. - Receiving articles. RankJet sends article content to this site. The plugin does not send your
post content, user data, or any visitor data to RankJet. - Disconnecting. When you deactivate the plugin or press Disconnect, it tells RankJet to stop
publishing here. Only the connection key is sent. - Plugin updates. The plugin checks for a newer version and verifies its signature before
installing.

- Install and activate the plugin.
- In RankJet, open Settings then Connections and choose WordPress.
- Follow the steps. Your WordPress admin opens so you can confirm the connection.
